Tried every new weapon except the Chargers. I liked all of them except for CoroCoro Roller and Sploosh-o-matic 7, but that's mostly due to my dislike of the Inkzooka. Would've preferred any other special. Aero PG and N-ZAP '83 are probably the ones I'll be using the most.
Kinda related since it...
Just realized the other day that no weapon so far has a:suctionbomb:+:inkstrike: combo. I kinda want that but don't think any of the remaining weapons gets it.
My preferred set for the new Sploosh would be :seeker:+:echolocator: . Not sure about the other ones.
A little disappointed that there's no Rapid Blaster/Pro variant, but even so the selection of weapons is a lot more up my alley than vol.1, with the Splatterscope being the only one I have no interest in using.
Gonna side with Spongebob. I haven't actively watched the show so I don't know how much it changes throughout, but from what I've seen, more often than not, Spongebob's "funny stupid" while Patrick's "annoying stupid".
I can't overstate how liberating it feels to now place an Ink Mine and not have it be a 10 second commitment. When you see a better opportunity arise, you don't need to regret that you placed your Ink Mine elsewhere a few moments ago. Instead, you can just place a new one. Oh joy.
That said, I...
By the way, does increased/decreased damage also mean that Bubbler and Kraken take more/less knockback from shots or is that dependent on something else?
I'm kind of surprised that Sploosh-o-matic wasn't touched while Splash and N-ZAP were. Maybe when Sheldon's Picks vol.2 rolls around? Anyway, the buffs to Ink Mines, Seekers and Hydra Splatling are appreciated.
Discounting the fact that main and sub weapons won't get any buffs or nerfs, I'm really happy with the upcoming patch.
The weapon set seems to include 8 weapons, with 3 of them being hidden. One looks to be an Inkbrush but I wonder about the other two. Hoping for a Roller with...
I'm really liking that moveset, especially the ink gimmick. I'm guessing other people can post movesets they've made up too? Here's one I just came up with:
Jab - Swings the Inkbrush around rapidly. Doesn't have a strong finisher, similar to Pikachu.
Side Tilt - Strong sidewards swing with the...
I see the Splatoon community is quickly catching up with Smash community with the amount of salt and entitlement. Good job.
Bayonetta was a great addition in my opinion. The only problem with Corrin is that he's from Fire Emblem, which isn't even a problem for everyone. Heck, I detest the...
Had some time with this in Rainmaker yesterday. It's probably my favourite Charger since it's very adaptable and you can quickly switch between offense and defence depending on the situation, while still not putting yourself in an immediate danger against many weapons. I also like the sub and...
Most of these changes sound good, at least on paper. The Dual Squelcher movement buff may be a bit much though. I felt like it was fine the way it was.
Would've liked to see some changes to Ink Mine and some of the Abilities. Maybe next time.
