Hey, we get it. However this website is run by and for the community... and it needs ads in order to keep running.

It's better to know why you are running the ability than to just make a gear build by following the flock ; )
Hence, everyone running QR, it's hardly useful compared to other things, everyone just thinks it is because someone else said so
Made this to explain specifically why you shouldn't be running QR. I see a lot of people still running the ability, so thought posting the video here would be good. If you have questions/comments comment on the YouTube video because I don't check squidboards often
Hope you Enjoy ^_^
Short little video where I explain why you shouldn't be running Quick Respawn. I aim to make my videos understandable by people of all skill levels whether you are a casual player or top level competitive. If you have any responses for the video comment on Youtube because I don't check...
I made a neat little video explaining why teammates in Splatoon 2 end up sucking too much, you can watch it if you want, but if not, it basically boils down to the better a player you are in your skill bracket, the worse your teammates will be
This is probably the most effort I have ever put into a video. It explains the three things that make Ranked completely unfair and unbalanced.
If you have a response to the video please comment on the video itself, I don't check squidboards often, so I probably won't see it here.
So I did a Speedrun of Octo Oven because I figured out some strats for him. This run is in no way 100% optimized, I just wanted to get a decent time for fun. I myself could probably get it down to 1:28 with some more practice, but I'd rather do other stuff lol. Plus it's nice to leave room for...
I said "competitively" not "ranked"
It is a whole 'nother story to get S+ in this game (my friend who had never touched splatoon did it in less than 3 weeks)
Good ranked results doesn't make a weapon good. It means the player played good enough to reach S+. The same can be done with Aerospray...
Duallies are most definitely not underused. Maybe in America, but in Japan they are a huge part of the meta right now.
As for blaster, it was never a solid weapon competitively in the first game, and it's only been nerfed in splatoon 2. They are adding a balance patch tonight where blaster RNG...
Ok, I'll wrap it up with this. It is widely encouraged by top players in the Competitive Splatoon community (the best example being ThatSrb2DUDE) that you should NEVER bother with motion controls in the competitive scene. That was the point of this thread. To say that it's not a "never"...
You haven't read the above posts have you xD
Daze uses analog because she doesn't feel comfortable using motion, she put many hours behind trying to switch and it didn't feel right.
It has already been established above that motion is more versatile and superior in many situations. The point was...
That's a little judgey don't you think? I'm a brush main and use motion. That doesn't make me unintuitive.
Same with Daze, she's not doing anything wrong playing analog charger, she just prefers it.
Oh no, we usually don't have problems this bad, it was pretty insane haha
Also, I do have tech knowledge =P
The reason it's so bad is because of the people you play with. In short, the worse everyone in the lobby's internet is, the more lagy and weird the match will be. New players doesn't...
Thing is Splatoon uses Peer to Peer connections, a server doesn't handle the match itself. That's why I have no idea what the heck is happening, because my connection to my Girlfriend should be very good.
So I was playing League with my GF the other day and then this happened
(Excuse potato quality at first, was having capture problems)
Has anyone had anything quite this bad before?
(Side note: Can we get dedicated servers already this is madness XD)
