Hi guys, long time no see! Would you believe I've been busy?
Anyway, I was fiddling about with the Private Battle feature to see if I could get a setup that would make 1v1 games enjoyable ad not just tedious, and I think I managed to stumble upon some pretty solid rules which I detail in the...
I feel the Chargers' ability to cover ground is often hugely overlooked; you can fire uncharged shots whilst strafing to cover a medium-sized bit of turf very easily, not to mention the fact that an entire corridor can be covered almost instantly and at no risk to you by charging into enemy...
It's unique in that it really has to be used as a stealth weapon and having Ninja Squid is almost a necessity. If you can get behind or even to the side of your opponent, leap out and start attacking them you've got yourself a winner. The joy of the spread as well is that you can take out two or...
If we ever get an interview with a Splatoon head honcho like Nogami I'll put forward a question about the language, i.e. 'Can it be deciphered? If so, is it based on a real language?' or something to that effect.
I think it's a bit of a leap to start talking about proper nouns! I understand that the 'speech' in the video clearly has no correlation to the language displayed below, but it's impossible to deny we get some seriously long strings in there, much longer than you'd really expect in a pop song...
When it comes to Inkling for me the biggest hurdle is the sheer number of characters. You could argue that it's a syllable-based alphabet like Japanese which would make sense given the game's origin, but it doesn't answer why the logo for the in-game brand Forge has so many characters making up...
I genuinely feel the chargers are much more viable for covering ground than people give them credit for. Fully charged shots give you a tremendously wide & long line, but the uncharged shots are also very good for covering smaller areas of ground if you shoot rapidly whilst strafing.
They're...
Of course they matter. Splatting an opponent not only gives you a burst of your ink where they were, but also makes them unable to ink anything for the duration of their respond time.
Kills should not take priority, but as long as an opponent is dead they can't cover any ground. They're not as...
I'm extremely sceptical, what they seem to be alluding to is the fact that Mario would be playable which would essentially ruin the entire aesthetic of Splatoon and cause the Inklings to lose much of their identity. To say Nintendo has been pushing Splatoon is an understatement and I really feel...
It's a sniper's paradise, all those long corridors get splattered so very quickly with one or maybe two blasts at a push. There is the disadvantage of loads of cover though, so it's swings and roundabouts really.
There are a couple of really good vantage points just before the central tower that are literally just very small walls. They don't offer a lot of movement but they're quite good little spots for picking off any intruders.
If you're feeling really ballsy you could always just use the central...
