When I first got the game I played it a quite a bit, but nothing too special. After a few months I got into a squad and I started playing unhealthily and possibly obsessively, devoting a good number of hours every night to it. However, when that fell apart I kind of let go. Now I don't play...
I'm really excited for Recon. I've thought about running a set around it for squad matches several times, but it was just never practical. My actual thoughts on Recon were: "If it would just last a few seconds after you leave spawn, it would be so much better..." So to me this is basically...
My philosophy for anything moral in a video game is basically, "If it's not hacking, it's not cheating." So I feel that spawn camping is a legitimate strategy. If you're running to the enemy base and camping, good for you, but how much are you really accomplishing? That's your choice to make...
I would actually love this. The gear brands would look inconspicuous and normal to people who don't play Splatoon, but would catch the attention of people who do. Blend in while standing out; not a bad deal. And plus who doesn't think the Takoraka symbol is kinda cute?
Yep, just tested it out with someone: Chargers most definitely can hit and kill a beakon and the person behind it in one shot if it is fully charged, with the exception of the Bamboozler of course. No lag involved.
Possibly. I just tested this because I was curious. A fully charged charger, even with max damage ups (if that somehow makes a difference) cannot shoot through two inflatables in one shot. So it definitely isn't that. I think Kay B's explanation is most likely, as I have been killed by standing...
If they charge their shot up well enough, then yes. Ever seen a charger splat two people with one shot if they are standing one behind the other? It's the same deal here, only a beakon is more fragile than an Inkling, so it doesn't take much...
I play Octobrush occasionally, and I'd say it is best in Rainmaker. It can make best use of it sneaky defensive/support style in that mode since people will focus mainly on the small Rainmaker objective and you will be free to do as you please. You can also pull the old "follow the brush" trick...
Personally, I think the fact that they are even needed in the first place is just silly. So yes, I think they should be more readily available and easier to get.
Submitted an application. Thanks for taking the time to consider me!
Also, I understand I have somewhat of a strange schedule. If it looks to be a problem, feel free to inform me of such.
You have an interesting way of catching people's attention.
I guess it worked though.
Welcome to Squidboards. Make yourself at home, and don't be a stranger!
Like mentioned, defense is really all about first having map control, second knowing where your opponents are, and third knowing where they want to go.
The first is simply having inked turf and laying beakons and other support items down if possible. You need to be aware of and have your flank...
