They're good in any level of play really, they provide a really easy start for new players and it kind of translates through to higher levels along with the skill of the players.

Here it is with the tail colour changed, i'm afraid I wont be able to join the squad, as i have already agreed to design and join another squad, sorry:(:(

I tried swapping the tail colour for a hot orange and changed the font to the orange aswell, but when I swapped the splat for a blue, it didn't contrast well, and was kind of an eye sore.

Yeah, i played with them throughout the first two and turned it off for the third and i have to say the motion controls suit the game well, but i don't know how competitive communities will go about them.

It can be used both defensively and offensively, making it a great weapon and having more than one on a team means that one can be used offensively and the other defensively making for a good balance. I think that when the game is released these sorts of tactics will arise more for each weapon type.
