What I meant was that the Thermal Ink effect will apply while you're shooting the Sting Ray. Normally it disappears while you're firing the laser but now it still applies to the one (or multiple) enemy you marked with you're main weapon. It is somewhat situational but it's still a use.
I use Thermal Ink whenever I use the Custom Jet Squelcher. It feels like Thermal Ink was made for that weapon. If you didn't splat your enemy (which is very likely because of it's low damage output) and they become weakened but hide behind a wall you could toss a burst bomb over the wall instead...
I find using half charge shots with the Bamboozler to be the most effective way for me. It probably is faster to splat than full plus tap shot. It was definitely faster in Splatoon 1 when you can use damage up so that the time to get to 50 damage was shorter while full plus tap did too much...
I think I just played with you in Salmon Run. I saw the name and recognized it from Squidboards. We had a really good wave 1 with Goldie seeking but then I disconnected on wave 2 sadly. If that was you then I'm curious to know if you beat all three waves without me.
I'm quite positive that the Flingza Roller's horizontal flick is actually the normal Splat Roller's horizontal flick, not the Carbon's. It was shown in the Nintendo Direct where they showed the new weapons as having a Carbon Roller horizontal flick but it is different in the actual game.
I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure that kills and assists in the results screen are actually tallied together. You can see the actual kills in Splatnet by subtracting the assists which are in the parenthesis from the total.
One of my favorite forms of communication in this game is when you die and your teammate splats the one who splatted you and you say booyah as a thank you and they respond back with a booyah as a your welcome. The opposite could happen too like when your the one doing the avenging.
I saw someone teleport this morning and a roller using a speed and turf hack. Out of all my time playing Splatoon this is the first time I've seen hacking myself. It was pretty funny but I feel like I will get annoyed really fast.
Well even with the burst bombs it doesn't kill as fast as the carbon. I think it's around 17 frames which is slower than some weapons like Tentatek. And you only need 1 main and 1 sub of damage up for it to work. I almost have maxed out turf with it and it works pretty well in S+ ranked matches...
