I notice it on beacons, with 1-2 subs. I totally appreciate the duration boost to ink mines
I feel like I reset sprinklers often enough that the boost to the duration is real hard to notice...but I am going to try just 3 subs, and see if it assists my Splatzones game.
Hey all. Sub power up! How few subs of this gear ability do you use for your favorite sub weapons?
Or:
What sub weapons noticeably benefit from Sub Power Up with only one or two sub gear abilities slots?
A narrower question, what sub weapons want one main and one/two subs of Sub Power...
This question has been answered/discussed a lot, and the forum archives/youtube tutorials will take you a long way. That being said, here are some thoughts:
Hide the beam as best you can
practice! Chargers are high skill weapon-training area is great for this, work on charging while aiming...
Thermal Ink has largely been a disappointment. Its one of those abilities I really wanted to work, but it just didn’t do enough.
That is, until Hydra Splattling dropped. This might be the gun that can best utilise the quirky thermal ink tag. Its got the range and spread to hit squids (with...
Tenta brella, obv.
Small issue here, but I’d like a more visible reticle when hiding my charger shots, or swimming while holding a shot. The soft grey circle gets lost in the visual noise sometimes...maybe I’m just old.
Can someone explain this wording:
"・Even when the ability isn't stacked in multiple slots, the charge time before performing a super jump will be noticeably reduced.
※Maximizing the amount of Quick Super Jump gear ability will have the same effect.
※Total time from selecting jump destination...
E-Liter main. I am a big fan of the new ink mines. Here is why in no particular order:
-Infinite duration
-You can put them on a low perch to tag enemies below
-They can soften up enemies for a partial charge kill (closest I'm gonna get to damage up)
-cheap enough ink cost to facilitate...
This is more disrespectful to my teammates than opponents: when you snipe a squid that is just about to be splatted by a mate, bonus points if its just a tap charge to push the damage over 100. Kill stealing basically.
Rambling post:
This splatfest....man, I could not pull it together, longest losing streak I've ever had. S level Early Bird. Started at 1600, and we were consistently getting out *** kicked, down to 1400 something. Played from 2am -5:30am pst.
After 2 hours, I resigned myself to the fact...
Yeah, its only when I NEED that range or want my beacon fix that I bust out the custom e-liter these days. Splatterscopes are so much faster on the charge (and now swim, ouch)
