I’m excited for the Minecraft movie…it’s either going to suck or be awesome lol

The thing I'm most excited for is prooooobably Mario Kart 9, which I wasn't expecting at all. Most Mario Kart games are starting to feel more and more similar to one another as time goes on which has made me not really care much for new Mario Kart things as they've come, but 24 player is a mod that exists in Mario Kart Wii and looks awesome there so I'm excited to try it in an official setting.

Idk, I guess personal prospects over any games, maybe Mario Kart 9? I really do want to see how games look on the Switch 2, mostly because I love just looking at games closely and having pretty graphics make me happy so any advancements on that front is great on my book.
Also I say personal prospects but, hmmm, I guess I just want to learn Japanese decently well? I just feel there's a lot of things to be excited about in my future which is nice.

The main thing that comes to mind is the Switch 2 direct which will probably have a lot of information we already know about thanks to the leaks but there should also be some new game reveals.
I'm particularly looking forward to whatever the new 3d Mario ends up being and the inevitable Smash 6 which I do plan competing in even if Mewtwo doesn't return.

• Obviously the switch 2 and all the new games that come with it.
• Tha Carter VI (was supposed to drop in 2024).
• Untitled Nas + DJ Premier collab album (has been in the works for 19 years and was also supposed to drop in 2024).
• Tadej Pogacar dominating the worldtour again, but instead this season he's riding this thing (it's not available to the public yet though so idk if it's even that good):
  
• No longer excited for a new Kanye album. Bully and Vultures 3 are probably gonna be AI generated and release so late they won't even drop in 2025.

My most anticipated game of 2025, to probably the surprise of at least one person, is Skate Story and not the new Pokémon Legends game. More importantly, I'm trying to find another job because I'm pretty sure I'm on a (figurative) sinking ship and I don't want to be around when everyone left goes under. And possibly start T against the wishes of everyone I see on a regular basis, but I pay my medical bills now and technically no one can stop me.

 

[Smash Arena]

I am most excited for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2025. The new Mario Kart is something I will certainly play a lot, both with friends at my house and online with players around the world. Hoping to also see a new 3D Mario game, which I bet will come out around the holiday season, maybe October.

Aside from that, will probably pick up Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 + 4, that game looks sick and I enjoyed the remake of 1+ 2.
