amazing realization for side order

after moving your save data from splatoon 2 to splatoon 3, they would use captain 3 from octo expansion and use it as captain 3. i assume this means that the agent 8 data from octo expansion is also used as your agent 8 in side order. i love continuity in this game

There's also a chance that Side Order might also use your Agent 4 data from Splatoon 2 as well if Agent 4 does appear in this DLC.

if this is true than i'm gonna regret not transferring my spla2 data lmfao (though i feel like they'd still let you customize the agents w/o that data, like how you could w agent 3 in alterna)

Yeah I wonder if the initial transfer from 2 contained that data, or if it'll give us the chance to re-transfer the data from 2 to 3. Because at the time I got 3, I hadn't played octo expansion yet. I guess it's not a big deal if not but it would be nice.
