Are Turf Wars getting more friendly because of the Switch reveal?

oh god, i want to throw up that's how bad S rank TC is today.
i don't think players understand what the tower is, it's so bad.

i have teammates spawn-camping like they're in the As.
they're literally ignoring triples by running PAST the tower,
or hanging back distantly BEHIND the tower while i'm left to deal with the entire enemy team.

i'm gonna try again tomorrow.

i had an awesome time squid partying last night. one of the inkbrushers made a heart near spawn and they/we allowed her to keep it when she did

A week ago or so I hopped onto Splatoon with four of my friends as inkvaded turf wars. Now, since most of us had not playing regularly, we definitely weren't super ace players. Despite that, the strangers we played with were not super players themselves. I can't say if this reflects all of turf wars, but I had a pleasant time despite worrying I would be beaten down bad by regular players.
