Color chip completion

Earlier today, I was trying to get more color chip badges (Because I want to get all of them) But I'm having trouble with some of them, so I wanted to know how many color chip badges y'all have?

Everything except Power Tone B, Support Tone C, and Mobility Tone A. The only multi-chip upgrades that can't align with a palette's common tone are Horizontal Slash Speed (I got this), Splatling Barrage, Brella Cooldown, Rush Ink Coverage (which I got from an earlier fluke), and Extra Dodge Roll. Everything else I managed to get in a few runs, without a hitch. Though Turf Drone Gauge and Splat Drone Gauge require hacks to access.

I have all the badges but the process was extremely annoying and I wouldn't recommend it unless you really love playing Side Order.

i got all of the color chips filled out but it took WEEKS. if you want all of them, grab some snacks and prepare to grind a bunch.

I didn't bother getting all the badges, I disliked Side Order so I just completed all the palettes and bailed.

All of them. A few that don't synergize with the Palette's inherent bias (like the extra dodge rolls for Dualies or swing speed for Splatana) took more time, effort, and planning. It's certainly doable, if somewhat grindy.

So far, since I last replied to this thread, I have gotten all power and a little less than half of the lucky chips.
I am very proud of myself
I think I'll aim for the support or mobility chips next, so I can just get them over with.

I have all of them, though the exclusive-contradictory color chips like Splatling Barrage and Extra Dodge Roll were tricky to fill out.
I will always remember my Horizontal Slash Speed run; the chips I needed were the last five in the palette. Never give up!

I only have one goal left: Getting all nine Rush Attack Up chips in a single run. I've already done all of the other 9-stack chips.
For fun, I will be accomplishing this with Shiver's palette.

I got them all and it's really tedious. A lot of RNG manipulation and praying the numbers go in your favor. The shop is your best chance at getting what you want because you have potential to get 3 chips of what you're looking for but you have to have a stockpile of membucks to do it.

If a vending machine is selling a particular chip, you can get up to 3 copies of that chip if you have the membucks to spend. If it's a chip you need for completion, that's more than halfway there to the 5 copies you need for full completion.

If you're going for total completion, get all hacks that decrease the price of anything. Floor resets, vending machine resets, vending machine prices, also you wanna get the hacks that increase membucks payout.

I am now halfway through my color chip journey. I got drone and mobility completed! Yet another day I am proud of myself.

I did it, it wasn't worth it in the end. However, if you want to pursue the goal. I recommend using Palletes with Chip Biases for the chip badges you're trying to go for and use the hacks that increase Color Chip likelihood.

If you're going for the weapon-specific chips that don't match the chip bias of the Pallette, then turn off the Color Chip bias hack completely. To get the badge, you need 5 of any specific Color Chips in a single run whether weapon-specific or not.

Got all of the Rush Attack chips. Dealing over 10000 damage with a single Kraken charge is incredibly satisfying, well worth the time.
