I think I have to go with team experiences this time. I've chosen money before but the question for that fest was "which is most important in life?" so of course my answer was going to be money.
It's different this time though since they're asking which one would make YOU happiest and while money has definitely made my life easier and led to creating some of my favorite memories, it's also made my life more complicated and is the reason why my city is the mess it currently is.
I would never complain about getting money but I'm also never going to give it any credit for the memories that come with going out and other similar things that require spending it.
It's nothing more than a requirement to do or get stuff I want.

Edit: I forgot to mention gifts but that's just because I've never been one to expect any to begin with. It doesn't make a difference to me whether or not I get a gift for Christmas or my birthday.
I just want things to go smoothly and move on to whatever I need to do next.

no but this is exactly how i feel about money as a choice. like, yes, i need it to live. yes, i would be happier if i never had to worry about it. yes, most experiences and gifts require money to be spent at some point. but money itself isn't the source of the happiness, it's the resulting security or the resulting experiences/gifts. and i don't like that that's how life is, so no, money is not the thing that makes me the happiest!!
