Not 100% certain but i'm guessing probably based off who has the higher seed. Seeds will be randomized btw..

If we do go through with it and it turns out private lobbies are not available, then lots of people who called in sick from work just to play in this tourney (me included) will be incredibly inconvenienced.

That depends on if we can play private rooms during splatfest. We still don't 100% know.

1) Even if, do we really want to divert attention away from the tournament because some people would also like to play Splatfest? 2) during splatfest the Americans would have to wear the splatfest shirt, which can be arguably seen as a disadvantage if non-Americans can wear better and already properly leveled shirt gear. Unless we decide that shirts don't give a big enough game advantage and is negligible, which I personally strongly disagree with

Speaking of which, I don't think we need to reschedule. The date has been set for a while, and it would do more harm than good to move it now. If people are concerned about it, they can play their match not during the splatfest
