Ah, his name is spelled as the S word, but with an extra ta, haha. It's pronounced She-tta, so we could go with that if you think it will cause problems.

I just want to say, it is great to see a lot of teams continuing to sign up for the tourney. When we started working on this, (I at least) had no idea it would be as big as it is now, and still growing. I give thanks to the community for being dedicated and interested in developing competitive splatoon.

Hey Everyone!

I just wanted to start out by saying that as TO's we are completely amazed y how many teams have signed up! we currently have 48 teams signed up for the tournament and we keep getting more everyday so that is great!!! We have teams all over the globe participating and we are all looking forward to this tournament!

We have also gotten in contact with some well known streamers on Twitch that are willing to commentate and also participate in the tournament as well so that is awesome!

we do have one big announcement however and can be either taken as a good thing or a bad thing depending on who you are. As TO's we have decided to limit the amount of teams for the tournament to 64. The reason that we have decided to do this is because we want to make sure that everyone is given the same chance to win as everyone else.

Sorry if we cause some confusion as didn't even plan to get anywhere near this number of people in the tournament!

Are they putting commentary over it after the fact and uploading later? Are they restreaming the matches live? Is there going to be one channel where we can find the matches are will the be on each streamer's personal channel?

Also, who do you have commentating? I'm sure @Cobbs is probably interested, and I'm gonna go ahead and throw @CoopLan out there as a good choice, but I'm not really in the know about up-and-coming commentators

we have a process figured out, but that's not my wing of development. all i can say, personally, is that we have a system figured out.

and all i can say about commentators is that we're in contact with some absolutely huge names from the smash community. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )
