Past winning creates a bit of a problem for Splatoon 4's setting, because going back to the Inkopolis hub areas was something Splatoon 3 already did, and the next game being set in a previous time period prevents weapons from Splatoon 2 or 3 from returning. My best guess is that S4 will be set in some sort of historical town outside Inkopolis.

This thread concept likely ties in theoretically to the concept of counting to infinity. Whenever you think something is final, you just end up finding something greater than before. What natural number comes before infinity? There is none.

Infinity is logically impossible. There is a finite number of comments that will posted in this thread, and we get closer by 1 to reaching that number for every post.

At some point, there will be a last post. It's not going to be for a long time though, so it kind of is pointless to post here.

There is a statistically tiny chance of any given post being the final one. It's worth trying every time.

Not unless the site's going down for good sometime soon, and I see no reason why that should be the case.
There will be finitely many posts but that doesn't mean each one has the same chance of being the last.

If we assume the odds are never influenced by the site being frozen or shut down, the chance is the same every time. You have to rely on everyone else forgetting it exists. Unlikely, but not impossible.
