I am in 8th grade doing algebra 1 and I love doing it (also why is it that everyone I meet hates math?)

Maths is so mid like it's not hard it just super uninteresting

Math is very polarizing for people. While some of us can very easily identify the way its concepts work, some people simply don’t think in terms of numerical values. Fortunately, math skills aren’t the only determiner for a person to be considered smart. Everyone’s smart at something.

If you just revise and revise the methods for all the stuff in the exam you can get an 8 or a 9 in maths. You don't even have to be smart at it, or really think like a mathematician. Just spend hours crunching those numbers

Not really like you just good at remembering stuff. It's really just a measurement of how hard of a worker you are tbh. I believe that intelligence shines in essay subjects cos you actually have to come up with something new and/or argue for something rather than just regurgitating something you read from the notes.

The only reason I hate math is because it feels like its in a foreign language and I just don't understand it
