I'm not fluent in anything other than English but I know bits of Hebrew, Spanish, Japanese, and American Sign Language. (My schooling was kind of odd...)

It's fun being in a French and English country...
I can speak both of them quite well if you ask me.

PHP:
<?PHP
$number = 75;
$number++;
printf("The current number is now %u!", $number);
?>
The current number is now 76!

Weird.

Not really. I've been more interested in learning 日本語.

But I know English is weird among languages for the fact that the word for an animal as food is different than the word for the animal otherwise…

Like Cow and Beef… Pig and Pork… Sheep and Mutton… Deer and Venison…

English has so many loanwords from other languages....French, German, probably a ton of others I can't think of at the moment but mainly French and German.
