Oh by the way, I've lost all of my data on Splatoon due to a weak USB so you may see me as a low level and rank. I am a lvl 50 S player but that's all gone. Hopefully by the time the tournament begins, I'll have my gear and weapon again.

I'll have to remove the manual inputs when i hear back from Squidkids and The Octosquad so that might mess the bracket up. I'll reset it to this if that happens.

If any team is to drop out, the first team on the reserve list will take their place. I'll update the OP with the reserve list in a moment. I'll also post the official ruleset in the OP.

Once again thanks everyone for filling up the Messtival! so fast :)

Finally i'd like to ask all captains to join the discord if you haven't done so yet. I'll review the poll results and it would be easier if i have all you guys together so i know which votes i should count.

You can't sign up anymore unfortunately because it's full.

You could try to get on the waiting list by posting your team in this thread (teamname, 4 to 8 players with their in game names and NNID) but there are already 2 other teams on the list just so you know :)

I doubt you would move it for one team but I'm gonna give this a try. Can you move the date to Sunday? It seems the time is pretty flexible, so maybe this can happen. If not(which I totally understand) then GT may have to combine to one team

Sorry but i really can't do that. Everything is planned and set up for saturday and SCL is on sunday (which you guys are playing as well :P).

If 3 more teams register i will make groups of 6 in the group stage. This will still cut to a top 8, which means it's going to be harder to get through. On the plus side, it's 5 guaranteed matches in the group stage!

If this happens i will release a slightly adjusted maplist, because there will be 2 more rounds in the group stage. Keeping the recent discussions on Rainmaker in mind, in that adjusted maplist there is only going to be 1 Rainmaker game in every BO5 match and 2 rainmaker games in every BO7 match.

As for the groups, if we do get the extra 3 teams, i am going to draw the 8 extra teams into the existing groups at random.

(side note, this extra 2 rounds does put an end to the flexibility in starting times. It was already pretty much decided that the starting time would stay at 5 PM CEST but that is now final)
