It's unclear at this point if Sunken Scrolls will continue to be a staple for Splatoon as a series, so I thought it would be fun to have some ideas on what type of lore they can reveal, you can also make your own quotes as well.
One such example is showing the progression toward positive Inkling and Octarian relation.
Now, this is where I'm going to make speculative quotes on what some of the Sunken Scrolls can say:
"Due to many Octolings escaping to the surface, a few Great Turf War veterans pointed them out to the public. Despite that, the millennials don't care about past conflicts as they consider Octolings living among them fresh."
"This is just in! Those who participate in Turf War are having huge followings on social media and even making friends who are outside of the capability of participating in Turf War, even pets love the participants of these ink battles!"
"Calling all Octarians, the Octolings who escaped toward the light managed to make it safe for us to return there. Of course, we just need to share that light with the societies that have access to it."
"We investigated Grizzco due to them not complying with the policy of worker safety. We still do not know who is the person that runs this shady business, but we will never rest this case until it is solved."
"Now that we trust Inklings, we have the confidence of them knowing how most Octolings come into this world. This here is a newborn Octoling, from what we can tell, the appearance is similar to that of a newborn Inkling aside from the number of tentacles and the mantel shape."
"Inkopolis has experienced a major turmoil due to the last Splatfest of many years ago, will we survive this? Only time will tell."
"We thought Off the Hook would never split up due to their bond, could their vastly different ways of thinking of how they prefer the world to be has caused this split?"
