November 2022 Splatfest - Pokémon Scarlet/Violet Celebration - Grass vs Fire vs Water

The next Splatfest has been announced! Taking place on 11/11 through 11/13, it's time to pick your starter! What are you going to pick?

I'm not sure yet, it will depend on which one I'll take a liking to when I actually get Scarlet.

As always, team whatever Shiver picks. In votes like these, people tend to be lazy and pick the default option. All I'm hoping for is to not lead in the half time right now, since tri-color is broken and means every attacking team ends up with roughly 3x as much clout as defenders.

Team Fire for me! My very first game played in the Pokémon series was HeartGold. In the game I found Typhlosion was just the coolest. He looked strong and opposing like a raging volcano.
Besides that I prefer using the Fire Element in Pokémon. So I will use my Firey spirit to go against Shivers team this time. Go Team Fire!

I have ended up picking Fire this time because one of my favorite legendary Pokemon has that as its secondary typing.

Picked team grass, mainly because most of the starters i've had whilst playing pokemon games have been grass types, such as snivy, rowlet, and soon to be sprigatito

just so happens that most of my friends are also going grass (which feels funny seeing me be the only one here to vote for grass wehhh)

Turns out I voted wrong. Grass is the team Shiver picked, so I went with it for a guaranteed dub.
