[Octo Expansion] Is it possible to get through the DLC even though i'm in debt with Pearl?

Because i'm so bad at stuff like this, i always end up skipping the levels, which cost me kamco points. (I do intend to come back to try to get all the mem cakes though, for now i wanna focus on unlocking the octo) But i keep running out of points which makes Pearl give me some of hers. Is it possible to get through the DLC entirely while being in debt with her? Are there any consequences if you skip the majority of the levels?

I was never in debt with Pearl, but from what I gather from the wiki, you won't be able to fight the secret postgame boss if you're in debt. I don't think there's a negative effect on skipping the levels, but if you want to avoid having to do them later, I think that clearing those that you can clear is a good idea so that you're not playing a lot catch up later.

So that means i can't fight agent 4 if i'm in debt with Pearl? Well.. guess i'll replay the stages i CAN do a lot so i can repay her. It's really really tough for me though. How can anybody do this? damn.

It's a tough expansion to fully complete, but you can do it! Just pick one stage at a time to work at, no matter how discouraging. If there are weapons you just simply aren't familiar enough with, it might help actually taking it into a turf war for a rotation or two to help get a feel for it - or even private battles with someone who'd be happy to help. Just keep at it - you'll get there eventually! ^_^

Aw, that's so nice. Thank you so much for that. To be honest i've rage quit before. Ive picked it up again after months of procrastination but to be honest i'm REALLY close to quitting again especially since i'm like 6,000 kamco points in debt with Pearl at the moment

Actually, i like the 8-ball ones the most. I usually have higher chances of beating those. The others.. not so much

Oh god i've seen people try to do that stage on youtube and i'm NOT lookig forward to doing that one.
