I never read or watched Ika Musume, though I'd definitely be interested in checking this out!

The manga/anime is actually pretty cute and funny. I've watched a good few episodes. It's charming.

It's also anime though so of course Ika-chan has super powers because reasons. Not that she really uses them any, but they're an easy 'get out of jail free' button.

I would be all over that. Or at least give me Hideki Naganuma, who made the music in JSR, make some music in Splatoon.
