I'm kind of disappointed with the little coverage the blaster is getting. I think it looks like a fun weapon and is useful on both the inking and splatting fronts
That's fair. I've been playing games competitively for a long time. (mostly shooters and fighters) And while I do plan on being proficient with all of the weapons, in my experience it takes 1000s of hours to truly master all of the intricacies of a weapon, especially in a game like Splatoon where the weapon types are so different. If running a team I'd have no issue selecting specialists to fit certain roles I'd like filled.Just because you are good with a variety of weapons doesn't mean you're any worse than someone who chooses to only focus on one weapon. Not in the long run anyway.
When i played Black Ops 2 league play with my friend (the competitive ranked playlist), we were both confident in each others abilities with sub machine guns, snipers or assault rifles and we weren't below the level of competition we were facing. That meant that if something wasn't working we had the option of switching weapons and adjusting without feeling like we were sacrificing ability.
E-liter is absolutely worth the extra charge time when you realize a full charge isn't necessary to splat someone.I'm actually going to main the E-Liter 3K Charger, as its range looks phenomenal. It does seem worth the extra charge time, but I may change my mind. As for the Roller, either I'll use the basic one or I'll use the Carbon Roller that's rumored to come as free DLC, which looks like it will have more speed at the price of the spread width of each roll.
It'll be best on certain maps, such as Saltspray Rig, Arowana Mall, and the upcoming Camp Triggerfish.E-liter is absolutely worth the extra charge time when you realize a full charge isn't necessary to splat someone.
It is probably the worst charger for covering paint due to the high ink usage, though.
You've got one of the faster but weaker explosive weapons paired up with the most powerful but slower sub explosive that can be launched in copiousOh, and I've chosen a secondary: the Rapid Blaster Deco. It's claimed by some to be the worst weapon in the game because of the nature of the Rapid Blaster and the fact that the subs and specials are less benificial at first glance than the original, but I'm determined to prove that claim wrong! I especially plan on using the Suction Bomb Rush potently; especially on enclosed maps like Port Mackerel and the upcoming Kelp Dome.
Definitely. Those will be good for keeping people from sneaking to a potent area/zone through back narrow routes. The special is good for maps and places on maps with plenty of walls and even ceiling, so the enemy won't even see the explosive coming. You've got one of the faster but weaker explosive weapons paired up with the most powerful but slower sub explosive that can be launched in copious
amounts with the special. Either use the suctions and rapid blasts to control your opponent's movements or just plant suctions in sneaky locations.
Unless they have Bomb Sniffer but who uses that over Ink Resistance.Definitely. Those will be good for keeping people from sneaking to a potent area/zone through back narrow routes. I honestly don't know what gear abilities I'm going to use. I think I'm going to level up all my gear and switch out once all slots are filled, and then choose my gear.Unless they have Bomb Sniffer but who uses that over Ink Resistance.
