I know this thread was made for Sizzle Season but I don't think creating a new one is necessary in this case.

Definitely the most unique top three weapons I've had for any season so far.

here's mine. stamper is from when i decided i was gonna learn stamper, four starred it in under a week, and never touched it again

It used to be much higher, especially back when Machine Neo was first added but I've become a lot more open to testing other options.
Either for Squidboards threads so that I can have a better idea of the weapon I plan on discussing or because I genuinely want to try out different weapons.

looking at this, maybe I should try stamper again. I clearly enjoyed it before.
plus it would be so funny to just casually flex stamper as if it's not one of the hardest weapons in the game

I'm thinking of trying stamper again though. We'll see how that works out.

Splatoon is a game with a lot of options. As someone who has never had my top weapon be above 15% of my seasonal usage, what I don't understand is not being curious about how other things feel to play. You never wonder what it's like to play the Heavy Splatling? REEF-LUX? Dualie Squelchers? Never feel compelled?

The only reason I was able to settle into a set of main weapons last season was because I'd tried literally everything. My curiosity was sated.

Occasionally I wonder. Then I play it for two games and I regret wondering.
I enjoy learning about how other weapons play, but I have very little interest in actually playing them. Why would I? I can just play s-blast.
The exception is stamper, which I played and did not immediately regret. I think that was my fastest 4 star ever. Might be trying it again soon.

Fair enough. I am more flexible than most players, therefore I have more options open to me. Which sounds like a good thing on paper, but really just makes it impossible to focus on any one weapon.
