Puffling Tails (Tales); Chapter II
To the city....?
And so, Puffling packed her bags and set off for Inkopolis. She had no idea what would happen or how she would make it there, but she was determined. That’s all that mattered to her.
“I hope I can get to the city without running into any trouble….. But with my luck, I might as well expect it to happen.” She said. Her stomach growled as she began to grow hungry. “Man….. I sure am hungry.” She pulled a package of instant noodles from one of her many, many suitcases. “Do I really wanna eat this dry?” She said, wondering if she was really that hungry.
“Nah.” She went to stuff the package back into her suitcase when she saw a little raccoon. It looked like it was hungry. “Shoo, shoo!” Puffling said, trying to shoo the creature away. “Run along, now! This is MY FOOD!” But it got very mad. It went completely crazy, attacking Puffling in a growling, biting, and spitting hurricane of fury. “Ow ow ow!!!!!!!!!” She whimpered, finally managing to shoo the raccoon away. “Jeez, some people.” Puffling had really gotten scuffed up in that little fight, but she didn’t realize how bad she actually looked. Her fur was now matted and scraggly and she had scratches and bite marks all over her face.
This is when things took a real turn for the worse.
