Yea, I know she has that whole fire thing going on, but with Ruby being affiliated with RED and Yang being affiliated with YELLOW, it wouldn't make sense to make the yellow one fire and the red one something non fire..Pokemon types are represented very heavily with color, and red is ALWAYS Fire type, and yellow is ALWAYS Electric type. Even though Yang has attacks that look fiery, EVERY electric Gym Leader is affiliated with the color yellow in some way. That's why Elesa has tons of yellow, and why Flannery has red hair and a red emblem on her shirt. And why Brock has a lot of earthy colors like brown, and why misty is wearing short shorts and a small tank top (summer wear, mostly seen at the beach, where there's BLUE water, which is her gym type and color theme).
