I had nothing better to do so I decided to do this
Splatoon lore(from memory): 10,000 years ago, humans started World War5 and eventually ended up ending the world through nuclear warfare. however, some humans managed to find a place on earth called alterna. alterna is a big snowy cave, they put up screens to make it look like it had a sky. then they tried to build a rocket to get out of there, but that failed. eventually, they ended up all dying, and they left behind magical crystals that contain all human memories and information. cephalopods ended up evolving from those crystals 10,000 years later into what we have now.
Splatoon 1: One of those cephalopods (agent 3) was called into the sewers by some creepy old man. it turns out the great zapfish (which is a big electrical fish that supplies all of the energy for inkopolis) was stolen by an octopus named DJoctavio. agent3 ends up going on a big adventure to try and get the zap fish back and return the town to normal. eventually, DJ is defeated and agent3 saves inkopolis.
Splatoon 2: it turns out calie (one of the news reporters from splatoon 1) went missing. So marie (the other news reporter) gets someone to find and save her. (agent 4) and it turns out, the zapfish was stolen again by DJOctavio. eventually, once agent4 gets to DJoctavio, they find that Callie was there too, but she was being brainwashed by weird glasses into helping DJ. Marie literally pulls out a sniper from her pocket and snipes Callie‘s glasses off so she returns back to normal. once agent4 defeats DJ they get the zap fish back and save inkopolis.
Octo expansion: An octopus cephalopod wakes up in the deep sea metro, the deep see metro is an underground train station. after walking for a bit She fines an old telephone from when humanity wasn’t extinct (commander TarTar) TarTar gives the octopus the name “subject 10,008” which we just call “agent 8”. TarTar tells agent8 that he will take her to the “promised land” if agent8 can find and return all 4 “thangs”. after finding a returning all 4 thangs and building them, it makes a giant blender. TarTar Traps Agent8 in that blender, but at the last second agent3 flies through the ceiling, breaks the blender and saves agent8. The reason why Tartar was blending agent8 is because apparently when you blend cephalopods it makes a goop that sanitizes you. sanitization is a process that you can go through that has you lose all memory and all thoughts so you’re just a shell of your old self. TarTar is making this goop because he wants to blast it on inkopolis and sanitize everyone. after going through many levels, defeating many bosses and eventually getting to TarTar who is in a giant statue in the ocean. Pearl and Marina are the new news reporters in splatoon2. they get agent8 to Tartar through a big helicopter. The statue has a big Canon on it so Tartar can blast the the sanitizer on inkopolis. it turns out that that Canon is solar powered, so agent8 covers it in ink to try and stop it from gaining energy. that didn’t work, but pearl has a huge megaphone. She screams through the megaphone and blows the statue up, saving inkopolis.
Splatoon3: Mr.grizz is a bear that is still alive from before humanity when extinct. it turns out when the world ended all mammals died off, and now that cephalopods are pretty much the only species on the planet, he wants to make it so that mammals thrive again. In splatoon 2, a new mode was introduced called salmon run. salmon run is where you go into the salmons territory and try to steal their golden eggs to power something. (we don’t know what they are for) now in splatoon3, it turns out the boss of salmon run (mr.Grizz) is using those golden eggs to power the old rocket ship from alterna, go to space, and blast the fuzzy ink all over the planet to make it so mammals are alive again. The fuzzy ink is a special type of ink that can turn anything into a mammal. A new agent (neo Agent3) is also called to the sewers by a mysterious old man. The man takes neo3 to alterna where she meets the “SquidBeakSplatoon” (SBS) The SBS is a group of cephalopods With Calie, Marie and old agent3. their goal is to stop mr.grizz from taking over the planet. eventually, they get to the rocket that ends up launching into space, but with the help of the new news reporters in splatoon3 (Shiver, Frye and Bigman) they were able to get to the rocket and defeat mr.grizz with the help of DJoctavio saving the planet.
