Splatoon needs regional option

Splatfest proves that this is not an issue, since it is regional.
And I never had trouble finding people to play with.

True, it took a little longer. But that might be cause of the whole regional community split into two teams.
And having to find teammates for your team AND an opponent-team to play against, is more work, than just finding 7 other people from your region.

But even if that doesn't make a difference, the waiting time never was much longer than normal.

I would be for a region filter in splatoon smoother and most likely better games.

Definitely. Playing with North Americans is fine (I live in South America), but when there are Asians or Europeans in the match, it sometimes lags really bad. So long as there isn't a distinction between the Americas, of course. A South American server would die off really quickly and Heroes of the Storm proves that a general American server works just fine.
