By the way, I believe "rank scumming" was made impossible now, as I can only see my rank when online.

And it seems that the rank changes by wins and losses are the same from C- to S+, if not just slightly harsher in S+, on the off chance someone didn't mention this.
Maybe the OK line is a few pixels farther away and there's an invisible quota that demands more participation from you than in C- to have a chance of avoiding the crack counter, which might be smaller by one.
There is no noticeable difficulty spike as in Splat1, however, where I'm still in the middle of S.
