Today I learned the meaning of what a TRUE bad Feeling is like, it is when you only need one more win in ranked( to rank up) and you got a really good lead but suddenly you play like **** (or other teammates) and you somehow lose the match in the most tragic way:scared:. After that I lost every match untli I had something like 56 points. So from there on I was like come on dude you did it once you can do it again and I actually managed to do it again. But then ... the same **** happened again and i had 58 points this time:mad:. haha I worked myself up there now (I only need four or five victories to rank up) and I am scared of this disaster Happening again XD.
exciting question for the community; What was your worst Feeling in splatoon? that would be very interesting to hear and learn from. Also sry if my english isn't that good:oops:.

There are just so many! Let me list some.

-A DC on your team. Unless it's in the last few moments of a game, or you happen to have an amazing group of players on your team, chances are, you are automatically going to lose.

-Having your entire team splatted in a short span, and or being the only person on your team alive at a given point. That's a very discouraging feeling.

-Attacking someone with a bubbler or kraken special and due to the lag, you are certain you killed them, but they still activate it and kill you.

-Falling off a stage in plain sight of someone else. It makes you look bad.

-Being echo located, it's never fun. Especially if you are using a roller or brush, so you can't play stealthily anymore since the enemy literally sees you.

-Losing due to overtime. That just sucks. Overtime has resulted in more losses for me than comeback wins.

-Having a charger snipe you in mid-air. It's a pretty cool feat, it's just a shame when you are the one they pulled such a great shot off on.

-The final results show up, and you had few kills, lots of deaths, and in turf war, having very little turf inked. You were clearly a burden on the team in that round.

-Constantly put on the opposite team of someone who keeps beating you badly. You stay in hopes of finally getting on their team, or showing them who's boss, only to keep losing to them.

-"Winning" the entirety of a turf war match, only to lose in the last 30 seconds, especially if your teammates got too overconfident, and all got splatted deep into enemy territory.

-Being closed off into your spawn area, only to be mercilessly splatted, usually happens due to a DC on your team.

-Win a match only because there was a DC on the enemy team, and you know if they had stayed, you were going to lose.

-Taking the time to get deep into enemy territory, putting down beakons in great locations, and your teammates still insist on jumping to you, or flat out ignoring your beakons.

That's enough for now, let's just say Splatoon as a loooooooooooooooooot of bad feelings. Doesn't mean I don't love it to death of course. :p

I know exactly how you feel. My amount of losses weren't quite as bad, but still. One time when I was still A+ I was doing pretty good and got up to 95. Then I lost the next round... After a million rounds later I ended up stuck at an A+ 77 for a while. Just when I thought I was going to get my S back. (I'm an S now... But gee, that was really horrible. XD)

I haven't had this game for very long, so I'm not brave enough to attempt playing ranked matches. But as far as my having bad feelings, it's always due to my performance.

I don't play a lot of shooters, and the ones that I do play, I usually act as support. That's part of what drew me to playing Splatoon. I do not like playing 'hero' most of the time, however I do want to be the kind of player that can hold their own and pull their own weight when playing cooperatively. I want to be 'the sidekick' and be there for my teammates. So if I play badly, that means that I didn't play my part and I let my team down. Things like: not being able to make my shots with a Charger, and letting the opposing team get past a certain point on the map, being splatted close to the home base, or not being able to reach my other teammates to help them out, will have me feeling very salty.

Wanting to play defensively may not earn me a lot of popularity points, but I'm perfectly fine with letting other people run the show.

Once during the last Splatfest I was trying to defend against a very strong push on Moray Towers, and accidentally fell off the cliff (I swear something pushes you down if you stand a tad bit too close to the edge). I was able to splat the enemy on my way back down (with a triple splat, no less), but I believe we did end up losing that match anyways, my bad :(

Splat Zones in Saltspray can be really easy to win if your team sets up Squid Beakons in the back area. I was A 98 when I was stuck with a team who insisted on charging in through the front, only to get slaughtered. Eventually one of my team mates started using them and we made a small comeback. The other two didn't even make an effort to take a different route or change their strategy. We lost, and in the results screen they were both splatted close to twenty times. My team mate and I fared significantly better.
It just sucks to be in a match where you're trying to help our your team, but it becomes 4-2

Falling through a grate in squid/kraken form or getting right behind an enemy while flanking and then messing up really bad and getting yourself killed by them.

A few:

The first time I got to S+ I remember thinking “YESSSSSS!!! FINALLLLLYY!!! I then proceeded to get absolutely curb-stomped back down to S IMMEDIATELY. I checked Crusty Sean’s shop to see if he had any shoes with Salt Resistance Up. He didn’t.

The several times when I’ve had a dominating lead in rainmaker (like down to 2), and some goober teammate picks up the rainmaker and decides to try to hide it at our base rather than advance it. Then of course he gets splatted right next to the podium and they dunk it. I’ve seen this too many times on Port, Kelp and Flounder.

Finally there’s that feeling when a Dynamo is in the air, in front of you, roller raised, and just about to flick you back to base. Before you’re splatted there is that moment, not long enough to do anything to save yourself mind you, but plenty long enough to think: “Well, this sucks…”

So I have to correct my earlier post, because I’ve finally found my personal worst feeling ever in this game (Live update! Woo hoo!). Rainmaker, Mahi, and we are SOOO close to dunking on them. I take out two of their team while we still have the RM, and their third squid comes around the corner aiming me and the RM carrier who I’m escorting down, and bam, I get the definitive “your splatted” sound. I think “well, that sucks” and that’s that. Then, after a bit, I don’t go to spawn, and I think “WTH? What’s the problem Splatoon, your lag sucks bigtime!” Then I finally realize I’m not actually dead, (another teammate not carrying the RM behind me got splatted, AND I could have killed their team’s third squid easily if I hadn’t give up) I’m just standing there staring at a wall like a goober doing nothing waiting to respawn! Then I, and the rest of our team, all get put away. Of course, you all know how all this ends…. They got a great push, and they won. *sobs uncontrollably*

I always get defensive when I see someone else in a Ranked Lobby with a weapon that I like (primarily SMs and Tris). If I'm using that weapon at the time, I hope to prove myself by clearly performing at least as well as they did. I get particularly defensive when I see that they're using a gear set that, in my opinion, doesn't play to the strengths of their weapon. And then I feel horrible when dominate the game.

Just now, Walleye RM, playing the SM Neo, I opposed a vanilla SM with :ability_bombrange::ability_bombrange::ability_specialduration: as Mains and an unseemly jumble of Sub Abilities, seemingly vaguely with the intention of having a dangerous Bomb Rush, whereas I'm a firm believer that the SM needs to run staple abilities (ink efficiency and speed, primarily) to use its full potential... and then, as I was mostly on different fronts from them, I didn't realise until the end of the game (which I lost to them) that they had gone 14/4. I need to reassess... myself.

Getting a team of people that just rush the enemy base in turf war, where you're supposed to be covering turf instead of focusing on killing.
