The white schemes makes my eyes burn.

Same here. I couldn't even see most of the text on the website. Octoboards are better, but I don't that ugly shade of purple. I tolerate it though.

That's why I chose the Octoboard theme. With it, I can see everything clearly and the text color is readable.
