  • Took a very small break from Splatoon, literally only three days long. Got back and one of my biggest problems as a player that's been plaguing me for the past year and a half was just magically fixed. With it a majority of my other smaller problems got a good bit better too. And for some reason I don't suck at vanilla Stamper anymore. This is unreal I've never leveled up this hard

Oh wow, nice! Out of curiosity, what was the problem??

I've always played TOO patiently, bordering on passive. It lead to a lot of problems like me not supporting teamfights as well, getting jumped easier, having a few points per game where it feels like I can't do anything to help...and out of nowhere I got WAY more thoughtful about when and how I approached. Much easier to see opportunities that I used to miss to take space or get an easy pick.

Oh I see, yeah I kind of struggled with the opposite problem, where tf is my team style, so I can relate. Nice job! 👏
hoping for the dlc replica weapons to be third kits just so we can get another stamper kit in under 3 months. it's not happening but it'd just be TOO funny

If any third kits were behind a paywall I could see tournaments banning them which would be big yikes. It would at least be a point of contention.

Probably but I wouldn't even mind just using them in open
Well, after three hours of gameplay, the vanilla Slosher went from one of my worst weapons to one of my stronger ones. Was awesome having things just start to click this quickly lmao

Weirdly enough, I don't even like Zipcaster on Stamper but I find it WAY better on bucket. I still suck with Zipcaster but on bucket it makes a lot more sense and I could definitely see myself learning how to use it from this. Angle Shooter is Angle Shooter, not good but at least it's fun and bucket likes the combos / marking as situational they both are.

Yeah I definitely think it's a fun kit and I don't mind Zipcaster on it as much as I did a few seasons ago. I actually really enjoy it on slosher now and Angle shooter still isn't reliable but it's a sub that can paint your feet and chasing people with Zip after marking them is really funny lmao
