    So this summer I'm looking to work on some gamedev stuff. It'll be a simple game missing a lot of features but it'll be a big thing for me if I can finish. It's not Splatoon related at all but DM me / reply to this if you'd like for me to share about it with you.

    One of my good friends has played Splatoon since 2015. Carbon Deco one trick the whole time. Loved Splatoon 1 and wants to enjoy the others but they haven't felt the same. Still, he and I play at every Splatfest and some challenges even if he's enjoying them less. Lately he's had more fun with 3 than he ever has before and all it took was him changing the weapon he's using to...the vanilla Carbon.

    Love to see it.

    Went to a Mario Kart Wii / 8 Deluxe tournament hosted and joined by only Smash players, got 4th/14 in 8 Deluxe and 4th/12 in Wii. I genuinely do not like MK8D at all and beat people who play the game often, played pretty bad in Wii and could've done better. Pretty happy with it though, fun time!

    also I love how mkwii is still having tournaments. kind of reminds me of smash ultimate and melee, although that's probably not a fair comparison.
    It's definitely broken, but in a fun way. like Splatoon 1.

    It was a local one, not really for big MKW players. Just Smash players who happen to enjoy Mario Kart. Called "Party Games @ AoE" on Startgg if it matters though

    I don't think it's super accurate when people say a game is "the Melee of" its current iteration in a series very often but it's pretty apt here tbh

    I like mkwii because of coconut mall, mk8D is fun with motion controls because it feels like I am playing mkwii

    I used to (and still do) always make jokes about how "my Explosher is kinda crazy" but I've now used it enough to the point where I'm genuinely not terrible with it. Not great, very inconsistent with lots of room to get better in general, but not bad at all. Pretty cool if you ask me.

    hate to burst your bubble but i don't think this is real, don't know why a channel would need people to shut it off when the government or network executives can just shut off the channel themselves

    earlier today i got to play the game again for the first time this week and within the first game or two i found a way into enemy lines that was super dangerous, got 2 kills for it, someone killed me but my teammates got revenge because i made him look an awkward direction. we proceeded to win off of one push because of that play right there

    Mentioned in another thread - I've been playing both Stampers for a huge majority of my matches in the past 5 months. It is VERY weird going from "I'll play a weapon for a few weeks then jump to another" to playing just one for this long. I still have mountains of stuff to learn with it.

    I 100% am a Stamper player now, never really thought I'd say it. Thank you devs for giving it freaking Crab Tank for some reason.

    Calling it now since it might get revealed tomorrow - one of the third Splatana's kits is going to have Big Bubbler

    Would that be a bad special for the weapon? I personally don't think it'd be great but I don't play the weapon.

    I mean we don't know about the third Splatana yet but it'd probably be quite good assuming it keeps the up-close one-shot. Especially if this is meant to be the longer-range one and it's most used for doing stuff against even longer-range weapons, haven't really seen that from anytthing in the game yet.

    My bad, I thought you meant a 3rd kit for Splatana Stamper but if the 3rd splatana weapon does end up having a longer ranged attack and keeps the one shot then I can see Big Bubbler working.

    Played Splatoon 1 again and man the maps in this game are insane. Everyone talks about flank routes but the geometry itself is way more interesting too. I'm sad I don't have any Quick Respawn or Damage Up but man does the game still feel broken in the best way

    Y'know what I just realized? Swords are actually awful, the Splatana Stamper is completely unviable and Wiper is for lame-os. They're also not fun or "peak game design" like I used to say.

    I'm dropping both of these today to become a Custom Goo Tuber solo main. I think this weapon has potential and all of the naysayers are just wrong and stupid and dumb. Have a nice day!

    Random weapons challenge. I get a scoped charger (my worst weapon) and somehow carry my team with it, then get the Bamboozler (thought I was awful at it) twice in a row and win both games. It literally took all three of my teammates doing poorly the next game for me to lose yet I still did very well individually with the Gloogas.

    Ended up getting a peak 2k challenge power
