Actually, those of us who've been on the thread for a while are of the opinion that inkling/octarian ink is actually a highly acidic substance (possibly a sort of living thing?) that violently attacks organic matter that doesn't contain certain identifier proteins (except plants, apparently.)...

Most of us do seem to think that only inklings and octolings are able to respawn. If you have more questions, I advise you to look through this thread. I know it's long, but a ton of different points are addressed.

I don't think that fits well with the cannon... but maybe a special could summon inkling androids? Also, the berserker part might be OP.

Maybe they're doing it ironically?

That's a cool idea... but if there are so many bubbles, maybe it should be a 6 or 7 hit kill?

I'm fairly certain that this is a basic principle of psychology.

This may not matter in the end, as inklings and octolings can't seem to handle large amounts of either.
