I think it's easy to blame teammates in this game because every team member counts. One bad/dc'd teammate could make you lose the match. Also, since the only gamemodes are solo queue and the game's target audience is children, it's pretty easy to put the blame on bad teammates.
While I'm fine with the current control sensitivity, I completely see where you're coming from with motion controls. One of the main reason why I switched from squiffler to aerospray...
I once had a match similar to this. But, instead of bad teammates, I had NO teammates. The match became so helpless that I was forced to stay in the spawn barrier for the second half of the match...
I honestly think, in splatoon's current state, that it is impossible to set up a tournament. The game suffers from no current way to pair up anyone and guarantee they'll be on the same team. Also, I doubt there is any way to pick a certain stage with the two stages per 4 hours mechanic. Until...
People that are having trouble with rollers should simply get to high ground. While this is harder to do on some maps, it completely destroys any way of a roller attacking.
I recently tested the difference between using ink saver sub (2 stacks) and not using it at all with the Splattershot (Burst Bombs and Bomb Rush). Both times I threw as many Burst Bombs as I could at full ink before the ink low pop-up came. For both, I could only throw 4 bombs before I couldn't...
