It's a shame such few hats give me the gorgeous ponytail look instead of the pigtails, it would have been much better to simply be able to switch to the ponytail at any time. Can't wait to see what other styles they have in store later on down the line. Also being able to switch weapons right...
Oh that's not fair, you lot get the cool halloween themed Splatfest and we get toilet paper?
Also the Baller is called the squid sphere in Japanese? Naughty inklings who don't do as they're told get put into the SQUID SPHERE™
Can't wait to see what this patch feels like in-game. Loving that Goo...
I'm glad they didn't actually didn't use the Native American headdress in the game. That's a can of cultural appropriation worms that we do not need to get into.
Haunt's nerf was incredibly unnecessary. I loved the smug feeling of seeing my killer get hounded by my teammates thanks to the point sensor effect, but now the thermal ink effect is so unreliable. Everything that uses the Thermal Ink effect (like Haunt and Stingray) should really make the...
So I finally got around to actually testing it and it doesn't seem to get a damage increase at all. The training dummies get splatted in the same amount of time with the small beam as they do with the big beam, at around 6ish ticks.
The beam does only get a size increase, I'm pretty sure the damage it deals stays the same. It still has obvious setbacks: turning is difficult, you have to hold the beam for 1.5 seconds for the big beam, doesn't cover turf that well at all, and you have to leave the front line or risk being...
The joy-cons with motion control work just fine for me, and I mostly use chargers, so there's no real need to use the pro controller if you don't want to.
My Squid Girl dress will forever be missed. I got triple ink saver main on it by chance and as a charger main those along with damage up were a god-send. It was also the most feminine outfit in the game so everything about it just worked for me.
I really hope they continue with the cross-over...
You know, I really wish more people knew you could hit the Drizzler's torpedoes back at it to kill it quickly. Too many times have I tried to do this only for someone to come out at the side and hit it at the wrong angle so it flies off into the distance.
I've seen a few people do this and honestly, it's probably better to just ferry them back yourself when playing solo. A good idea is to throw a bomb upwards to land on the eggs as the thief salmon pops up then quickly swim back to the net, so by the time you get back the eggs should all still be...
I'm really hopeful for the Octolings this time around. With the work put on the Octolings in Splatoon 1 patches it was clear that they at least tried to make them playable but failed for some unknown reason. This time however, they know just how popular the Octolings are, enough to make one of...
They should really set up matchmaking by comparing the point average of the last 20 matches or something. That way I don't have to deal with squids who are barely capable of breaking 500 points.
Jesus putting the new Stingray to the test is truly something, it's a BEAST. I'm getting tons more kills with it, even at close range, so now I don't have to stick with the E-Liter to have a viable kit. I wanna see how it holds up in TC. I gotta say though, you really see how lag affects it if...
