my school has a gaming club and today they did a mini smash tourney which is cool except i have never played smash in my life. so i was hearing everyone else in the room yelling some complicated-sounding words meanwhile i barely knew what a stock was and was playing link because the teacher in charge said it was a good character for beginners

i did the 2v2 challenge with someone in vc and i mainly was just shocked at how good my game awareness was all of a sudden??? i guess the problem is less that i'm not good at it and more that i just get overwhelmed having to track 8 people
i learned one singular callout today while playing open with a few other players for fun. i am proud of myself
team's going great so far, i just went on a minecraft server with one of them, got killed by them multiple times, which eventually snowballed into us intruding on multiple people while wearing my head and continuously saying "it me neon light" with the voice chat mod. it was the time of my life really -
