Wait, isn't that part of being console banned? I understood it as essentially your NNID being totally locked out of being able to access Nintendo's servers unless you reset it to a new console. No internet, DLC, eShop, nothing. Only disks and what was already downloaded.

I wouldn't worry about it. It would make the running of them much easier if they just had a bunch of pre-made teams (like 20 or so) and just randomly selected them on a schedule, with those oddball sponsored ones dropped in here and there.

I think it's just frustration at this point.
I think just about all of us interested in game's development, assets, and such can pull up actual examples of games having unused content partially, if not fully, added into the game's data, yet never accessible in game.
