    random headcanon: "Inkling" isn't really one language, but a group of related languages spoken throughout the world of Splatoon. so the languages spoken in Calamari County, Inkopolis, and Splatsville aren't the same language, but still related to each other.

    came up with this after looking at the official lyrics for some of the idols' songs and noticing how different the gibberish words were depending on whose song it was.

    seeing as we've only seen the inkadia area of the splatoon world so far, i imagine it to be more like different dialects. nintendo doesn't seem to be too keen on expanding the language side of inklings that much which is probably why the term "inkling" seems really broad for just one language

    oh but for my headcanon? octolings do have different languages depending on what part of underground they're from, but everybody learns one common constructed language when they start training for the military, so a lot of these languages are starting to go extinct

    hilarious how last Splatfest was like "what's your favorite baby animal? (。・ω・。)" but the new one is like "THE WORLD IS ENDING!!! WHAT WILL YOU DO ON THE LAST DAY OF YOUR LIFE?!"

    recently got a new computer mouse, except it's wireless, so it needs a ritual sacrifice of two batteries every so often to work. i'm preeeeeeetty sure that it's not supposed to go through them so fast, but i don't know anything about how computer mice work so who knows.

    well, you probably left it on, (which is possible because of a little switch on the back of the wireless mouse) and if you need more tips on how to take care of it or for quick game tips for it I can help you with that because I use a computer mouse (which is also wireless)

    It's because of the shutdown of splatoon 1's servers on the 8th. It caused a disturbance within the collective chakras of splatoon fans around the world, disturbing the Moon itself, which culminated in a solar eclipse that same night!!!!
