I got bored and attempted to recreate the Deep Fried Shwaffle at home. Pre-frozen shrimp tempura, pre-frozen chocolate chip waffles (it's what we had), unagi sauce, whipped cream. (I forgot we had Cool Whip.) When I ran out of unagi sauce, I poured on maple syrup because we don't have chocolate sauce.

Battled in my first tournament today! My team did great, even if I mostly followed along and got repeatedly got by my opponents.

I think Tower Control is my new favorite PvP mode.

Chances are whoever should see this post won't, but if I played Private Lobby hide-and-seek with you and utterly failed to understand, sorry it took me five rounds to catch on. I've never played before. I had to Google rulesets.

(spoiler for Salt) Rolled a 100x Battle with my one Festival Shell before I fully warmed up. Had a teammate with a long range weapon who pixel painted instead of keeping Team Drums out of mid. I brought N-ZAP! Wringing every last drop out of potential specials is my job! Needless to say, we lost spectacularly. This Splatfest stopped being fun for me. Eat Super Chumps, stranger.

Why is it that every time I roll a 10x Battle, it feels like my team is 10% as competent as when I do a regular Splatfest battle?

I'm starting to fear that the Splatoon brainrot won't go away anytime soon.

Spent the last few days building up my Freshness rating. Trying to get my one win of the day sunk me way back down.

Are Dapple Dualies a thing people look at and think "this is good?" No. Does it have a kit that deals damage? No. Is it fun popping Tacticoolers and dodge rolling off of Mahi Mahi with my speed boosts? Yes.

I listened to Octotune on the bus home today. Dedf1sh really did become adept at making everything.
