I guess it could be done, but you would have to do a different one for each game mode on each map though
I remember playing on Port Mackerel TW against a team of all chargers. Out of all of them, the Bambi player was the worst. With all those narrow straightaways, he spam uncharged shots like crazy and covered the map really quickly while the rest of his team (Splats and E-Liters) covered him. He was also able to score a lot of kills himself. We got REKT. I know it's better at killing than inking, but don't underestimate that thing's coverage on narrow straightaways. The bambi (i really love that name) is pretty proficient at splatting actually and isn't really all that good at inking turf because of it's really thin inkspread. But i highly agree with the point you're making.
I don't think so honestly. Pokemon has tier lists and viability rankings, and team comps in that game are way more intertwined than they are in Splatoon.Tier lists should not have a place in this game imo bc different types of weapons have different roles and there are too many external factors like special and sub weapons to compare one kit with another. Maybe a tier list for one role(turf coverage, range support, etc) would be more logical even though I don't feel like that would really work out that well either.
Not really. You can't make a tier list, cause that means you have to put the gear into the list too, Head, Body and Foot + Sub Abilities.
It also depends on the situation too, what map and what mode so the multipliers of this tier list will almost be impossible to make.
Tier lists still just makes a paradoxal meta anyway with anyone having "low tier" weapon thinking their weapons are bad due to "low tier" status, and will automatically go for "higher tiers" just concreting it's a "high tier" because some people decided it's that useful, and eventually they'll get better with the weapon and there you have the paradox of creating a "tier list" when people get good with "high tier" listed weapons in the first place.
Nozzlenose is bestbut the next moment your Dynamo roller just got absolutely recked by a low level nozzlenose
Depends on your playstyle but more often than not a nozzlenose has no chance against dynamosNozzlenose is best
