I DO think it's really hard to judge all these subs and specials in isolation... like, Beakons are great on Backline but painful for a lot of frontlines, and Wall could be anywhere from "this just costs all 6 points if you want it" to "this should be worth negative points" for some weapons. Regardless...!
It's gotta be Naut with literally any of the 5-point specials besides cooler (Cooler's nice, but I'm just not looking for that-- besides, play Heavy Edit!). If I'm really stuck choosing between Angle Shooter and Toxic Mist... I guess Angle Shooter because it's cheaper. Toxic Mist has a nice effect of harassing backlines and just buying a couple seconds of "the Z+F doesn't want to stand here right now" can be quite nice, but to only have 40% of my ink tank after that, and that's only if I showed up while full...?
