I'm not completely sure if it's a name, I've found it on only one website and no mentions of it anywhere else, but you could still make it a name in a novel.
I didn't look very thoroughly to see if the word was real, I was quickly searching for every word and only looked at the first site or two that came up mentioning it.
It's some kind of spirit from German mythology. I know nothing about German mythology despite being mostly German myself.
