Usually from what I see this discussion is mostly about an objective point of view. for example H-3 is one of the hardest weapons in the game from an objective view. I want this discussion to be more perspective since every player will find a weapon harder or easier to play than normal, let take H-3 again while not the easiest weapon ever I do find myself struggling less with it then other players.

So yea basically just do that, I go first with my own

Hardest for me will most definitely be a close one, but I'm going with the. sorella brella. The main weapon hinges on a lot of different factors on top of the main gun being pretty ink hungry and is like no other weapon in the entire game. Yea technically vanilla brella is harder but let face it who unironically like vbrella?

Easiest for me is 52. gal (What have I done, I mentioned 52 gal on squidboards) the weapon for me at least don't really have any big downsides that make it hard to play maybe the rng, but a few subs of intensify make the one downside non problematic.

I was stuck playing it for so long that I unironically enjoy using it from time to time like I actually know how to use it

But anyways
My Hardest weapon has got to be the Classic and New Squiffer I like chargers I don't have the worst aim but something about squiffer just doesn't sit right with me
Maybe its the hyper aggressive nature of a super precise weapon but I can't get my head around it
On top of that put big bubbler a special which I am not a fan of or Zipcaster which I suck at and its my hardest weapon

My easiest weapon is tricky I might make a curtain somebody mad with this one but Sloshing machine
This weapon is long clash blaster ok I said it
Yeah even after the very harsh nerfs I feel like this weapon is still VERY easy if you position well and watch your ink tank and these things come pretty naturally to me due to my experience in the blaster and brella class

I think it's hard to define "hardest" weapon for me, because as a sticks player that means... literally any charger is instantly hardest. And while that answer probably applies to most motion players too given the skill requirement of chargers, it's still a bit of a "cop-out" answer for me specifically in my opinion! So other than all chargers... I'd say probably Big Swig, Explosher, or Tentabrella.
Big Swig hits too weakly, and while there's definitely weaker weapons I feel like I can do better, what I find kills Big Swig for me is that I always WANT it to do more damage, I always EXPECT it to do more, so I get into fights I can't win.
Explosher... Explosher is too slow, yet also again feels too weak for me. I don't think it's actually unfun to play, I don't mind getting it in random weapon challengers, but I am LUCKY to get more than 2 kills. Sometimes not even that
Tentabrella... I'm bad at aiming for the kill, I'm bad at slow weapons, and when I try and use the brella itself I fail to recognize how long it takes to unfurl and how much ink it needs. I'm not good at ANY Brellas, but Tent in specific is one I struggle with

For weapons I find easiest? Tri-slosher, obviously. If my constant posting about it didn't show it, it's my favorite weapon, but I also just find it... easy to play with! It meshes with everything I like most with the game, it fits how I like to play and when I play to my strengths, I do a lot better! I'm better with Nouveau (I love Fizzy Bomb so much as a sub and Tacticooler is Tacticooler), but despite my... lack... of skill with Inkjet, I feel I'm good with the vanilla kit as well! The fun and ease of which I found the vanilla kit is ENTIRELY why I picked up the Nouveau kit in the first place, and I love breaking it out during the Inkjet only challenge and the occasional time I get it on random challenges

Hardest: Probably Tenta Brella, Luna has spoiled me with it's lack of lag frames. I get the whole "attack while enemies are vulnerable and don't try to force conflicts" thing but I either don't do anything and don't support my team or I rush in and just get killed. I think it's just not really for me honestly, especially considering I don't even understand normal Brella (I've watch Prochara's guide so many times I'm just too dumb for Brellas). A second contender is basically every charger, but I can at least kill with Eliter and Squiffer somewhat consistently.

Easiest: Luna Blaster. People say Luna has a learning curve but get this: Use Your Indirects. People underestimate the range and only go for directs but really the indirects are the key with Luna, it only takes two to kill and they have a significantly larger hitbox than direct shots. If you can you should go for the one-shot but really, don't think about it and just try to shoot in the general direct of your target. Use them to peek, use them to poke, use them to combo, use them in fights, use them to paint, combo with Zipcaster's zips, just prioritize indirects before directs.

easiest is 52 gal because you can do a lot of dumb stuff, an easy playstyle kind of built into the weapon and have like no real weaknesses

hardest is tenta brella. i still have no idea what my decision making flowchart should look like with this thing and for most other weapons i would struggle with i can usually play around bad kill time or whatever just fine

backline chargers (mostly e-liter but also splat charger), feel so impossible for me. Like not only is it hard to hit shots but standing back and having a lot of downtime charging is so psychologically painful for me. I need to be moving at all times or I will simply die.

I probably need to get more current experience with weapons before I find what's easiest but am gonna go with 52 gal for now based on the experience that I was legitimately a little mad at how little time I had to spend with it to feel like I could use it effectively compared to everything else.

i'm extremely averse to button-mashing so pretty much any weapon that makes me do that is hard for me. brushes, squeezer, nozzlenoses, etc etc. i won't pick them freely & if i get them in salmon run i hope for the best. honorable mention to chargers as a class, there is no room for imperfect aim with them and similar to what @Aiko.Octo said their playstyle is just so opposite to what i'm used to as a run-in-and-die dualiebot that i either have to restrain myself from frontline charger-ing or... fail to restrain myself. lol

easiest weapon is harder to pick out because like. i don't really play much but dualies. i'm sure some shooter would be easier for me but i just don't play them often enough to tell. (and whenever i use other classes in pvp, like in the random-weapons challenges, i sometimes try to dodge roll with them because i'm just so used to being able to do that. 😭) of the dualies, though i'll always be a brainless tetra main at heart i think i'd have to say vdualies are a little easier for me. if i take salmon run assignments into account, though, i feel like i have the easiest time when given rollers?

The easiest weapon for me is N-ZAP. I obviously don't play it because I despise it, but out of all the weapons that I have used at one point or another, ZAP is the easiest. Honestly, I used to not hate ZAP because its fast strafe speed was an interesting gimmick and it played much less aggressively than the other shooters around its range value. Then they buffed it three times instead of nerfing Snipewriter.
Honorable mention goes to Heavy Splatling; whenever I play it fights feel so one-sided in my favor that I quickly get bored of it.

Never mind, I forgot about Slosher. I am unreasonably good at the weapon; particularly securing trades in losing fights. I would probably use it more if I liked either of its kits, but the first one is too passive and the second isn't strong enough for its difficulty. If they give Angle Shooter a buff that's meaningful for Slosher Deco, I'll probably pick it back up.

I've made sure to train with a variety of weapons such that I find none of them difficult. This is easy when you don't have to mash. I know what you're thinking, it seems like the obvious answer; Squeezer. Actually, no. My main role is midline, so I have some experience with Squeezer and fairly good aim with it. My most difficult weapon is Inkbrush. It has no range; it has a bad kill time even if you can mash fully with it. It relies entirely on its skirmishing power. The only reason I have a modicum of respect for Inkbrush players is because their weapon is a lot more difficult than it looks.

Heeheehee, Hydra my love. I am so in sync with it. No other weapon feels anywhere near as comfortable to me as my dearly beloved Hydra Splatling. I could conquer to world with just the Hydra Splatling alone.

My weakest weapon class as a whole are Dualies. The dodge rolls just go againts everything I'm used to movement-wise.
But I don't play Dualies, so in terms of weapons I actually play it's probably the Dynamo Roller. The range is in that middle ground I struggle to adjust to at times and I always forget how to do the jumping horizontal flick after long breaks from playing the weapon.

The weapon that's the easiest to play for me has to be Blob.
I tend to play a bit more aggressively but I never actually have to so if I wanted I could just stay back for the whole game.
The vanilla kit is also just really good at letting Blob do its thing which is staying back while supporting its team with chip damage and paint control so I don't have to do a lot.

For hardest weapon I guess that could go to Splatterscope. Not a lot to say there, it's a charger that sacrifices movement and awareness for range while having Ink Vac. It's not a terrible special for it but it's something you need to be more careful of when using since it'll take away the main weapon and isn't that useful for your team unless you're close to them.
Out of all the weapons I play though, I would say Slosher Deco.

For the weapons I typically play, Nautilus sticks out as the hardest. It's an aggressive, but intentionally advanced Splatling that requires teammates' friendly paint for its charge-hold to work. I'm not good at positioning around other players' moves, especially with this weapon being as short-range as a Splattershot Pro.

The Splattershot is the main weapon I can handle best. It has good accuracy and a fast kill time, is quite maneuverable, and is in the middle of the pack in terms of short-range shooters' splatting distance.
