I think they work on the right weapons but for most of them they're just a bit boring to use, even though they're solid

THEY'RE WEAK!!!!!!!!!!! (but seriously they are weak it will take about two and a half to splat you)

I think Ink Mines should briefly slow opponents that get hit by them. If the point is for it to be a trap, it should actually trap people.

They worked that way in Splatoon 1. I don't think Nintendo will go back on that decision.

From what I have heard, "worked" is a strong word.

They were very extremely annoying at lower levels where you wouldn't see them coming (me 3 years ago) and do basically nothing if you actually notice them (me when I go back now and play S1)
