From speculation, the art on the icon, Mario and Luigi have their artwork upgraded, so the black letter emblems are now colored. Though people are concern with Nintendo being too campy with needing to insert Bowser everywhere, and realize this game is meant to break away from the traditional plot. That is all that there is, simply. Just a icon found from hacking, so Nintendo has no intention yet of announcing it till maybe, maybe for E3. (This includes adding generic giant boss battles, which Bowser's was great, but meh with Luigi's.)I'm not much of a Mario Party guy myself. I had (and loved) 2, but it went missing a few years back, and I've not felt the need to try any of the others (save for 8, but that was years ago). I might look into them, though it might depend on if I can get my friends interested.
I have a few other games I'm looking to get for the 3DS anyway, so they can both wait until after I beat those.(Plus I just got Street Fighter II for the Swiitch, can't get too crazy now...)
That's right, there was a rumor about a new Mario & Luigi game, wasn't there? First I've heard of a Bowser's Minions thing. Is it supposed to be a new side-game or something else entirely?

So yes, nobody knows if it is a full on remake. I simply do because Nintendo did put it on console to download off the shop back in 2015, so it wouldn't make sense to just report it for the 3DS. And people think the side game is a replacement of Mario Bros that was on it originally.
I had to be revived by CPR and brought back from the grave when I saw the trailer. I was floored by it. Nintendo, please, you're killin' me bro!Hey! I'm back after a REALLY long time!
I saw the trailer on youtube today. Apparently its a remake of M&L:SS with the art from Dream Team, plus a new mode where you are fighting as Bowser's minions to get your king back. There was some stuff with you controlling a (small) goomba army and fighting against beans and hammer bros... Whatever it is, I want it.
(But first I have to get a 3DS...)
I never actually got to play this game in my childhood because I was born in the DS generation. (my first DS was a collector's edition Mario red with his logo in the corner). After borrowing M&L:BIS from a friend, I wanted to play all of them, so I finished SS and PiT on emulators. Doesn't mean that it wasn't my fav though!I had to be revived by CPR and brought back from the grave when I saw the trailer. I was floored by it. Nintendo, please, you're killin' me bro!
There is ONE slight complaint, and I am not trying to sound like a downer or anything since this happen in Paper Jam. Sprite recycles...Now, that isn't a BAD thing, but I kinda noticed a few things that look burrowed from previous sheets and some are brand new. Though they are fluid, just that disappointment that was noticeable to me. Otherwise the rest is rendered beautifully, and Fawful looks really more fixed up than he ever was. Same with Cackletta.
I am so glad they kept the bro attacks, and avoided the more eye candy giant battles. (Wouldn't make sense in this game anyway unless there was some sort of inserted new plot that called for it.) I am also awaiting for the track badly, that childhood is calling to me...
I own all of them except for Paper Jam, otherwise Superstar Saga is my top favorite game. Masanori Sato who worked on it also happens to be my favorite artist. I also have a big story behind why the game is my favorite, and how it affects me to this day. My favorite song is Bowletta's Anger:Really short but still good.
Rookie & Popple isn't half bad either.
Wait, you made these? They look AMAZING! I have absolutely no talent in art. Though I am trying to learn Japanese... Somewhat unsuccessfully, since I am trying to do it foe free, and there are not really that many free resources available.I own all of them except for Paper Jam, otherwise Superstar Saga is my top favorite game. And...I like that song, too. I've been listening to it lately and still gives me those chills from that 'day' when Florida was being hit directly by a hurricane.
Out of random curiosity, you ever tried the superior hack? (Mind the name, don't take it offensively.) It is a hack that supposedly fixes and makes certain bosses harder. Basically, a 'hard' version of the game.
On the side note, I am a big fan of Cackletta and Fawful from the first game. I miss the two goons together, and they went down too fast for me.
(Edit: I did recent fanart when the leak happen right when I was working on them)

Yes, though digital art isn't my top. (Getting slightly better at it at least, I am actually more of a color pencil specialist.) So yeah, I do fanart for it. So got my dedication going there. Art takes a long time to learn, and a lot of time to copy and master with memory. Also how you handle your pencil grip can really throw off things.Wait, you made these? They look AMAZING! I have tried a 3DS emulator for Super Mario 3D Land, but it went at like 2 frames per second, and all of the textures were glitches up, so I quit. Maybe if it gets better, I'll start Dream Team and Paper Jam.
My fav is Bowser's Inside Story, because it was my introduction to the series, and the story was awesome as well.
I have not tried the superior hack (and did not know it existed), and I probably never will, since I deleted all emulators and games off of my computer because I had to reset it.
I don't really have much of an opinion on Cackletta, but Fawful is great! I completely love his way of speaking!
Thanks for the resources! I'll definitely look into them later. It will definitely take me some time to get the syntax down, like you said.Yes, though digital art isn't my top. Also, there are a TON of resources for Japanese. I know quite a lot for you to try.

Japanese is pretty hard if you treat it with logical sense. If you want tips from me, you are allowed to ask since learning how to conjoin sentences structures can become erratic if you don't know the central flow. To me, I pick it up really easy but have no one else to talk to with it otherwise, so meh.
Ah, yes Bowser's Inside Story. Me, I sort of changed from not liking as much to having more favorites with the later ones, but the battle system is like butter. Amazing. I wish Dream Team didn't have someone else do the giant battles, which was Good Feel. That is why it was harder, ex-konami workers, ahahaha...But hey, wasn't TOO bad for me. Just you want the battles done and over with like Bowser's Inside Story.
Cackletta is like a nontraditional villain with very emphasis expressions. She was also one of the villains who didn't seem to get mad at Fawful for failing, which is usually someone a main villain would do. Also possessing Bowser was really a BIG thing back in early 00s, and was really scary to witness. The best parts was her screaming at cross-dressing Luigi pretending to be the princess, while dashing around her as she blows a fuse. I laughed so hard.
By the way, here are my favorite tracks from the series:
Bowser's Inside Story - Deep Castle, Final Castle, In the Final.
Dream Team - Most of them, actually.
Superstar Saga - Most of all, so can't list them all.
And leaving out Partner's in Time. That game is somewhat of a love and hate relationship with me due to a lot of liner gameplay for my taste, and those babies.
Yeah, I just got it after my birthday. Been grinding at Breath of the Wild. It is odd, and a tradition since most of my systems always began with a Zelda game back in 1994. The game isn't for everyone, that is for sure. It reminds me of Farcry, Skyrim, Red Dead Redemption, and many other open worldly gameplay. Thanks for the resources! I'll definitely look into them later. It will definitely take me some time to get the syntax down, like you said.
I think Cackletta is okay, but I honestly prefer some of the other villains of the series, especially Fawful (he is just too hilarious in how he speaks). The cross-dressing part of Superstar Saga was pretty funny, I do have to admit. And that little cutscenes where Bowletta was first revealed, with the black background, and the terrifying face and the gaping maw spewing fire - that was pretty scary. I wouldn't know how much of a deal that was, though, as I was born in the early 00's.
I kinda like the giant battles in Dream Team, and especially how they incorporated Mario for the Bros. Attacks and the finishing attacks. Definitely beats Giant Bowser with only 3 options: Punch, Fire, or Heal. (And what's up with him eating mushrooms, I thought only drumsticks heal him)?
In the Final / The Grand Finale is my favorite Mario song of all time (maybe tied with Gusty Garden). This orchestral remix is even better than the original:
Though in general, I feel like the best music of the Mario series comes from the Galaxy games. Though Odyssey may top them!
BTW, how do you feel about the first (main) vocal song in the Mario franchise?
I want Odyssey so bad, but I'm pretty sure my parents aren't going to get me a Switch anytime soon :(
Do you have one?
You are making me jealous :(. I never really used miiverse though, and probably won't use any kind of social media on the Switch (if I ever get one). Screenshots would be really cool though!Yeah, I just got it after my birthday. Been grinding at Breath of the Wild. (The system is WAY better than the Wii U, I will say this. The hub and everything is cleaner. The miiverse is gone, but you can tweet pictures much easier and take screenshots on the fly. You can also edit them and say silly things on it. They also updated with new icons, so you got ones based upon Mario Odyssey and Splatoon 2.)
And for me personally, and not being unbiased towards you or anything since you are younger than me and grow up with Mario differently. My favorite music personally is from the Mario RPG, and early stuff. Of course I like some later things but slightly more pickier.
On top of that, I've been working on my Mario sort of fan comic again which is based around Cackletta and Fawful but with a semi alteration. So basically an AU. Though I only like talking about the comic in private if you were curious over it.
Anyway, the switch is REALLY nice. I felt the controllers were more improved. Even the joycon has nice clicks when you roll the joy stick around. It is even more nicer they went back to cartridges since the system won't be making loud noises over time. It is smaller than you think, too. It is like a regular sized tablet and it is very portable if you buy a case for it. Almost any charger will work for it if you do some research. (I believe even a mac book pro charger even works.)
On the back, you can insert in a SD card to apply more memory easily. So yes, great system...Real great. I normally aren't this satisfied with it. They also got rid of that stupid little sensor bar. So the system does it automatically, thank jeebus! Sorry about getting carried away, but the components are just so smooth and awarding.
(By the way, Mario Odyssey has confirmed co-op for two player. So, NICE.)
I heard Skyward Sword is a bit liner from what I am used to. Especially with the bosses, they aren't as 'epic'. I also don't like Twilight Princess, either of course. It spammed bosses with giant bulging eyes that say 'hit me'! Plus the layout of it felt kinda thrown together, but it was in production hell for a while. I played Okami while it was lagging on to finish. (Good Zelda clone...)You are making me jealous :(. The only zelda game that I have played is Skyward Sword, and I gave up in the middle of it because a) I got bored and b) I misplaced the flash drive with it and 6 other games on it, so I can't play them anymore, even if I wanted to.
I just glimpsed at the co-op video, and looks pretty cool. Speaking of Mario Odyssey, why did they name Mario's cap Cappy? Out of all the names... really? That seems somewhat lazy to me.
Also, do you still play Splatoon at all? Or are you waiting for Splatoon 2?
Wait wait wait! Cappy IS A GHOST????? Is that the white top hat thing? I just saw it a couple of times, but I didn't give it much thought. I never realized...I heard Skyward Sword is a bit liner from what I am used to. Especially with the bosses, they aren't as 'epic'. I also don't like Twilight Princess, either of course. The ghost? Hrm, yeah kinda a bit bland. Could of went more with a ghostly name. Me, and my friend thought that the cap was robotic and was given to Mario from E.Gabb like he did with Fludd, but nope, it's a ghost. That is one minor disappointment but I will have to see how he is character wise.
I do play Splatoon. My ranking is in my sig, and I've been playing it on and off. So yeah, been playing since 2015.
Yes, a ghost that is a top hat. Not sure if it is a hat that belonged to Bowser or what...(Haven't been looking up, don't want spoilers.) But he fixes up mario's torn up hat.Wait wait wait! Also, I know you play splatoon, since you are on this site. I just wanted to know if you have been playing it recently (because I haven't).
