Seeing agent 8's getup for the new single player stuff makes me wonder if these new missions will feature the armor system of the first splatoon 2 single player story, or if we're going back to the less forgiving no armor system(except when you collected an armor case in the level) of splatoon 1.

I'm really hoping for much more challenging levels, I liked most of the later missions of the primary single player of splat 2 (octogalaxy, one with the cosmos was TOP NOTCH)

And. . .

Will there be a new final boss fight?
Who will it be? inb4 DJ Octavio again. . . hopefully with another song to at least match the power of his splatoon 1 theme

I know this thread is kinda old, but I briefly came back from the dead to say that I'm glad that Ninty has finally proven me wrong.

But I'm more excited for Callie in Story Mode tho.
