Here's a thread dedicated to the best cartoon airing on TV right now.

Let's discuss various things about the show like how Peridot is the best character.

imo I haven't liked the fanbase since the show bursted with popularity since The Reveal

Garnet is best Gem.
I really love the show, got into it after "The Reveal" as Alexandoop calls it, was sad when I finally finished all the episodes because now I have no Steven to watch during this drought before a new ep airs. I've teared up at a good few moments.

With that said, I can see the fans going down the Brony route. I don't want to see that happen, this show is too pure.

I've been watching the show since Day 1 and was kinda surprised by the popularity explosion that happened with the show's season one finale. I suppose lesbian space rocks have a way of garnering a quick following. With this and Gravity Falls on hiatus until summer, I'm taking the moment to catch up on reading and checking out other shows like Harvey Beaks. On the topic of the show though, Pearl is obviously the best character.

I really like the show but can't stand the fanbase (or at least the Tumblr side of it)
They act like some sort of perfect selection of fans who do no wrong and complain when a shred of pornography is made for the show DESPITE the creator of the show being slightly known for creating yaoi of the cast of Ed, Edd, and Eddy. They're never satisfied and get upset if you so much as mention any of the gems being females despite the gems obviously supposed to be referred to as women with even Steven referring to them in pronouns like "she" and "her"

I also forgot to mention that Peridot is awesome!..... but Pearl is literally perfect; stay out of my face if you think otherwise.

Garnet is my favorite, she's so great. This is one of the few shows I've actually kept up with as it aired, I'm really enjoying it.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't Rebecca Sugar who made Ed Edd and Eddy yaoi, it was just someone on the crew. I don't see how them taking part in making porn of a cartoon should mean people can't be upset that porn is made of Steven Universe. I personally think people can draw porn if they want but if any section of the fandom is to be looked down upon I really don't think it should be the people upset about porn. If anything , they're the people that respect it's a show made for children as well, and that fact should be respected.

It's not the best but it does have its charm. I just wish Steven and his dad weren't so ugly. His dad is the worst though. Who thought that was a good design?
