I'm pretty new to this show and I don't know many people that actually like it, so I have no idea what the fanbase is like at all. I just thought it was a really great show. Lapis and Pearl are probably my favourite, but it's really hard to pick them apart. I like almost all of the characters to be honest.

I really love everything about Lapis Lazuli, I just feel like we didn't get to see enough of her for her to be on Garnet's level. That song tho~<3

Steven Universe is probably the best show on Cartoon Network right now. It's very well-made for being a kid's show and all.

Also, if we're talking favorite characters here, I'm more of a Pearl fan myself.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't Rebecca Sugar who made Ed Edd and Eddy yaoi, it was just someone on the crew. I don't see how them taking part in making porn of a cartoon should mean people can't be upset that porn is made of Steven Universe. I personally think people can draw porn if they want but if any section of the fandom is to be looked down upon I really don't think it should be the people upset about porn. If anything , they're the people that respect it's a show made for children as well, and that fact should be respected.

Nah, it was Rebecca Sugar who drew some EEnE yaoi pictures. They made the rounds a few years back, even before she started working on Adventure Time, if I recall correctly. In any case, yeah, no one should be upset at the people annoyed by porn. If anything, be upset at those who don't try and make sure that NSFW images don't find themselves in front of the eyes of children.

I love the art style for the show. It isn't my favorite show currently airing (as that honor goes to Gravity Falls) but it is up there in the top three for me.

Pearl is best gym. Strong in the Real Way is my jam.

Oh man, Steven Universe is great! Hiatus sucks, though. I've been following this for... a while now, at least. I forget what the episode was when I started, but it was before Lapis Lazuli appeared. Those episodes are what really first blew me away. Garnet's still the best gem, though.

Pearl and Lapis are definitely my favorites, but I like all the characters pretty much. The art in this show is really great, and the animation is thoughtful, and and the characters are all so deep. It's got great messages in every episode, along with some killer jokes, comedic timing, and facial expressions. Rebecca Sugar is honestly an inspiration, I'm a really big fan

Edit: Oh yeah, I was following since the pilot/first episode, and to be honest I wasn't all that surprised to see it really take off after Steven Bomb. I was confused as to why people weren't into the show in the first place, haha

There are a couple of characters I don't really care for in the show, but it's nowhere near enough to bring down my enjoyment of the show. I wish I got into it sooner if I'm honest, but I've seen some great people that love this show now and I'm glad. I've also had some great discussions and times theory crafting with people too.

I think the people who are more anti porn are actually scared of it becoming more like the brony comunity where a bunch of older men just make gross porn of them. I remember someone comparing it to like an anime harem show and i was like 'dude no.' I'm not against porn but man Id rather this stay not gross.

Where dat amethyst love tho?? I wish she had way more development from her selfesteem issues :(. Prob my fav part of the series is how none of them is really perfect except slowly steven seems to be reaching that ideal lol

I love this show as well, I'm actually a fan of Amethyst, which is also my birthstone, her personally is similar to my own. Messy room, loves to eat and relax, laughing at other's misfortunes, likes to have a good ol' time, Garnet will always be awesome too, and OMG as for best looking fusion, Rainbow Quartz :O What if eventually Steven and Pearl fuse to a similar fusion LOL will be interesting to see! Sugilite is something wild and crazy and would like to see her face Malacite in an episode. Greg Universe has his own coolness factor, but what if he wanted to trim down one day LOL Lapis Lazuli I hope one day can become a Crystal gem, not holding my breath though. And Jasper wth lol, ok definitely a wrestler amazon that one is LOL When ARE we going to SEE Yellow Diamond ?????

Yeah! I love this show so much and I'm so excited for the new episodes.
It's so hard to choose favourites... but I like Pearl and Lapis the most. I really want to know more about Jasper as well.
My favourite human characters are definitely Connie, Sadie and Greg though.
Also, all the character design and music on this show is top-notch.

Just start marathon the show since Gravity Falls was on hiatus. This got to be some of the most beautiful animation I ever seen. The character are great. Steven inst that annoying, loud boy character most show has and the gems are great ( Rose and Garnet is the best). Only got about 20 more episode until I get catch up.

I've just really started getting into. My friend she gave me slight shoves towards the show every so often as she always does, and now I'm hooked!

I didn't expect the show to be as good as it's become when I saw the first few episodes, but with what happened last season and what could happen this season, it's super exciting! I've recently been playing the new full theme song a lot.

Not great footage with the screaming fans but it's the best I've found so far.

Spoiler: Possible spoilers? Just to be safe.

At 2:40 it shows Peridot, Jasper, and Lapis and another gem. With how Lapis seems to be caught by Jasper again lead me to believe she'll loose control of their fusion. The gem that turned her head is either Yellow Diamond or a new gem. Amber. I've not found where anyone has found this, but people say Rebecca stated that "Yellow Diamond is not ready to be seen quite yet." So I'm not sure if that was actually said. Either way hyped for this season! Already loved the aired episodes of this week.
