Reviving this long dead threat.
Going to toss a few new weapon classes just as ideas.
Splat Cannon
----
Type: Cannon
Damage: 150 (direct), 60-80 (indirect)
Ink Consumption: 20% (full charge)
Range: 78
Charge Speed: 44
Mobility: 50
----
The Cannon class works similar to the Charger class, you charge to fire a single shot. However the Cannon's charge system has a 2 ring system similar to Splatlings, but instead of having a slow then fast ring, they charge a fast then slow ring. First ring charges the power and lethality of the shot, the second ring determines the arc range. As you may have figured out, Cannons fire one powerful explosive shot, not unlike the Explosher. Though unlike the Explosher, they are lethal and instead of piercing, these will explode on contact with players like a Blaster shot. There is no laser sight due to the inherent slower nature of the cannon shots.
Splatterhose
----
Type: Hose
Damage: 140 (direct), 20-70 (indirect)
Ink Consumption: 15% (full charge)
Range: 62
Charge Speed: 70
Mobility: 70
----
This is a new class that needs some explaining.
Hoses are essentially a pressure based shotgun of sorts, playing on the idea of squeezing a hose and releasing it. Shots from hose weapons are characterized by essentially being a scattershot fan. A direct hit in the sweet spot is a splat while being within its fan radius will deal a variable amount of damage. These follow the exact same one ring charge system that Chargers do. They also have the charge store mechanic as a default feature.
Now to a pre-existing classes.
Hot Samba
----
Type: Shooter
Damage: 24
Ink Consumption: 1.2
Range: 82
Fire Rate: 6 frames
----
This is actually based on the one piece of concept art that depicted a hot sause based weapon. The Hot Samba is a long range, lower damage, medium accuracy weapon. The weapon has range equal to the Jet Squelcher and boasts a higher firing rate (with a better time to splat). However the weapons is now a 5HKO instead of the Squelcher's 4HKO, on top of it boasting slightly lower accuracy. It does benefit from better painting and slightly better mobility.
